Either in person or remotely, Steve offers classroom-proven, easy-to-implement strategies for a stress-free way of nudging students along the path to becoming independent and enthusiastic writers across the curriculum while aligning with the various standards in interactive, hands-on and engaging Professional Development workshops.

He can adapt the time frame and grade level suggestions to meet your needs. He has done one-hour professional development workshops for teachers as well as half-day, full-day and multiple-day presentations. Steve has conducted teaching workshops for, among others, the International Reading Association, the National Middle School Conference, many State Reading Associations including California, New York and Massachusetts multiple times, the Rhode Island Middle Level Educators and RIASCD.

Steve has received Professional Development training from the Kennedy Center for the Arts.
